Meet the staff of Driftwood
Mike Dameron - Harbormaster
Harbormaster since April 1999.
Growing up in the Bay area, Mike ran his own boat and automobile upholstery business for 26 years prior to his move to Driftwood. He is a likeable guy who can be found in the office very early every morning ensuring the Marina runs smoothly. Mike and his bride of 40 years Kathy, are members of Driftwood Yacht Club and Aahmes Shrine Yacht Club where he has served three terms as Commodore. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. On his days off, Mike loves to fish, work in his garden, and spend time with his family.
Ernie Quails - Assistant Harbormaster
Ernie Quails, Assistant Harbormaster, was an employee of the marina for several years prior to moving to Tennessee. Driftwood welcomed him back in 2010 after he and his wife returned to California. With years of experience, vast knowledge, and boundless energy, Ernie is our “go-to” guy!
Jim Dawson - Assistant Harbormaster
Jim Dawson, has been a valuable employee of Driftwood Marina since 2004. Jim is a longtime member of Sportsman’s Yacht Club, where both he and his lovely wife Darlene have served as Commodore. He is an avid and knowledgeable fisherman and hunter.
Eddie Brassfield - Assistant Harbormaster
Eddie Brassfield has been a member of the Driftwood staff since 2009 and can be seen working around the marina with his faithful dog Daisy in tow. Eddie and his wife enjoy pleasure boating on the Delta as well as international travel on cruise ships to exotic and faraway places.
Bonnie Galante - Garden Godess and Office Assistant
Driftwood’s newest employee, If Bonnie's not in the office attending to administrative matters, she can be found outside tending to her garden. Bonnie and husband Steve Flowers are longtime boaters, calling Driftwood their home port since 2005.
