Meet the staff of Driftwood

Mike Dameron - Harbormaster

Mike has been the Harbormaster of Driftwood Marina since April 15, 1999.

Mike grew up in the Bay Area and was a boat and automobile upholster for 26 years, prior to his move to Driftwood.

He is a likable guy, who can be found in the office very early each morning. On the rare day that he takes off, he will go striper or sturgeon fishing, or work in his garden.

Mike and his wife Kathy are active members of Driftwood Yacht Club, Diablo Yacht Club and Aahmes Shrine Yacht Club, where he has served two terms as Commodore. They have been married for 35 years; have two children and two grandchildren, with a third one due in March 2009. (He'll be glad to show you pictures!)

Jasper - Marina Mayor!

Jasper is a 4 1/2 year old Golden Retriever and has been in doggie heaven since being adopted by Mike in January 2005. All of his doggie dreams have come true: He goes to work with Mike every morning, has lots of playmates, room to run, swims as much and whenever he wants to, and has the berthers trained to carry cookies even if they don't have dogs!

Wherever Mike is, Jasper is there to greet you, too!

 

Jim Dawson - Assistant Harbormaster

Jim has been the Assistant Harbormaster of Driftwood since April 2004.  He is an avid hunter and fisherman and is a long time member of Sportsmen’s Yacht Club where both he and his wife, Darlene each served terms as Commodore.

 

Roy Bertolani - Staff

Roy has been assisting Mike and Jim with various tasks at Driftwood since January 2007.  We couldn’t keep the place running without him!
